The Hippopotamus Sapiens is a very rare humanoid hybrid, appearing only in-cutscene in Beyond Good & Evil.
Like other humanoid races, they are bipedal but retain the jaw and head-structure of the animal. They are roughly the same height as a human, though much stockier.

Appearance[]
The hippo humanoid is featured in a K-Bups commercial that plays on many of Hillys' giant television screens: wearing a long yellow gown, they are seen eating K-Bups and dancing with a group of Hillyans.
Near the end of the game the Hippo sapiens can briefly be spotted again at the back of the crowd as the revolution begins in Fountain Square.
