The Flagship "Arachnoblast"
The Arachnoblast is the flagship of the Alpha Section, commanded by General Kehck.
The spider-like ship sits on four massive pincer legs which allow it to 'walk' over any terrain. With its powerful force 10 laser bursts, the ability to release killer drones and emitting deadly electrical force fields, the Arachnoblast is the formidable head of the Alpha Section fleet. Due to its immense power, it is able to capture and haul its vehicular victims behind it using a tractor beam. Thanks to the Arachnoblast's many back-up systems, the chances of defeating it are low.

The Arachnoblast takes flight with the Belgua in tow.
As Jade and her companions escape the lunar Transmitter in the Beluga, Kehck catches their ship in the Arachnoblast's tractor beam, dragging them into the trenches of the moon. While trapped, the Beluga has to evade the ship's web of laser beams and power charges, while targeting its alternating energy systems.
After a fierce firefight, Arachnoblast's systems fail and it crash lands, releasing mines and torpedoes to protect its entrance. Jade boards the ship and deactivates the tractor beam, as Kehck succumbs to his wounds.
