The Alpha Sections HQ is a militarised sector in Hillys City's East District. Under heavy security lockdown, this sector serves as a local headquarters for the Alpha Sections, both above and below ground. The HQ is only accessible with a Star key, via a war-damaged street from Fountain Square.
Summary[]
In Beyond Good and Evil the Alpha Section HQ serves as a stealth platforming sequence. It can only be accessed after the publication of IRIS 514, when the Governor gives Jade a star key to deactivate the laser-gate blocking the entrance.
Infiltration
Once in, Jade takes an elevator to the upper streets and must scale the outside of the buildings while avoiding many Alpha Section sentries. Several M5 laser turrets also guard the district, so being spotted results in instant neutralisation.
On reaching the top of the building, Jade enters an East District storeroom, where a cache of 10 confiscated pearls can be recovered.
General Kehck's ambush.
However, as she attempts to leave via the roof, a gate opens to reveal General Kehck lying in wait with his guards. Riding his twin-gunned hover chair, Kehck chases Jade across the skyline, raining fire down upon the rooftops. Luckily Double H is waiting ahead, hanging on to one of the giant hovering televisions, and he catches Jade as she jumps for her life. As the pair float back towards the pedestrian district, Kehck orders his guards to let them go, knowing they lead to “an even greater prize”.
